How do I create my profile?
You create your profile page in the same way that you write an article. For details on how to format the content of your page read
YourFirstArticle.
- Now browse to either the Rider Profiles or Horse Profiles page.
- Think of a wiki name for your personal profile or your horse's profile. A wiki name has no spaces or punctuation and each word has to start with a capital letter, e.g. SampleHorseName.
- Enter the name of your new profile in the box provided and click the Create button.
- You must only use 1 wiki page per profile, i.e. don't link to other wiki pages that continue the same profile.
If someone has already created a profile with the name you wanted to use, you will be taken to their page. In this case hit the back button on your browser and think of a more unique profile name.
What is the web address of my page?
First create your page and then view it. The web address is shown in the address input box in the top of your browser.
e.g.
http://EquiPortal.co.uk/docs/SampleHorseName∞
Right click on the address in your browser's address bar and select "copy" from the menu. You are now ready to paste the address wherever you want to link to your page from.
